MCQ Day Retreat

Come to The Textile Center for three days of sewing and camaraderie with your MCQ friends. The sewing room will be open from 10:30 am to 8 pm on Friday and Saturday, May 5 and 6 — and 10:30 am to 6 pm on Sunday, May 7. The room will be locked overnight so you can leave your sewing area set up. Come for one, two, or all three days. 

The room will be set up with a 6 ft. table for each sewer, extension cords, cutting tables with cutting mats, ironing boards and irons. Meals are on your own. Bring a bag lunch and/or dinner, order takeout, or go to a restaurant.  The kitchenette has a refrigerator, freezer, and microwave oven.

You will be able to load and unload at the back door and then move your car to nearby parking. See the Textile Center website for parking information and a list of restaurants in the neighborhood.

REGISTER and pay $10 per each day you plan to attend. Space is limited so be sure to sign up early.  

We need volunteers  to assist with hosting this Day Retreat.  Host tasks may involve  assisting with room setup, takedown and cleanup after 6 pm on Sunday,  greeting  members at the door, and liaisoning with Textile Center staff during the  event.
