On a whim, Lisa Call created her first quilt while still in high school, igniting a passion that has transformed into a career as a professional artist. During this presentation, she will take you on an intimate journey through her artistic evolution, from traditional quiltmaker to professional textile artist. She’ll explore three key themes that have shaped her journey: community, education, and reflection. Lisa Call is a contemporary textile artist whose work is a reflection of her deep-seated fascination with patterns and repetition, a passion cultivated during her upbringing in the American Southwest.
