About the Event
Jill will share how to be inspired by what we have in front of us. Her lecture and virtual trunk show will include how to stay in a creative zone and will explain her process using bits of fabric scrap from the current quilt as inspiration for the next one. She will help us transform our perception of the scrap pile from something to feel guilty about into exciting new possibilities to explore.
Jill Fisher, improvisational quilter, is a western girl transplanted to Iowa City in the heart of the Midwest. She is a stay-at-home mother of four, color enthusiast, story-teller and a curious self-taught quilter. Her specialty is working in a series with solids and telling stories with her quilts.
