Nancy Birger
Roseville, Minnesota
I began quilting in the late 1970’s. I hand quilted traditional quilts, had other people machine quilt some, and belonged to quilt guilds in 5 states as we moved around the country for my husbands job.
About 20 years ago I bought my first Longarm Quilting Machine and as they say; the rest is history. I still quilt for other people and I donate quite a few quilts every year.
I have taken classes from many well known and some unknown quilt artists. I’m on a constant learning continuum.
Art quilting has been an ongoing creative experience as I make new friends and keep the old ones.
As we look to a new year I value my membership in MCQ and all that it offers.

Giraffe October 2021 This took a lot of nagging for me to finish it. It has a thread painted background.
