My first quilt was a traditional 9 patch made for my son when he moved from a crib to a big boy bed 31 years ago. I was hooked! I had the good fortune to live in Boulder, CO and attend the Front Range Contemporary Quilters meetings. I was inspired by contemporary quilts to go back to school and earned a BFA in Fiber Arts from Colorado State University.
Now that I am retired, I am back in my studio - knitting, quilting and weaving.
I'm excited to join such a wonderful community of quilters.
I worked as a geospatial analyst - making maps and analyzing satellite imagery. I take inspiration from land and sky.
